"It's amazing, I've matured here. It's a life changing experience ... I'm not stopping till I get the belt." -- Josh Rodriguez
Through the Punch Boxing Gym program, the kids learn how to cooperate with their team members, respect others, and become more disciplined, focused, and goal-oriented. No longer do they choose to spend their days playing video games or hanging out on the streets. They choose to be an active participant in the journey of life.
“It is very important to us to celebrate the progress of our kids and through that encourage them to keep working hard both at school and in the gym. Children need encouragement, they need focus and they need to be rewarded. That’s why this event is so important. We also want to let the community know what we doing, in the hope to get more at risk youth out of dangerous situations and into a positive environment.”-Frank Burchette
